Terms and Conditions for Purchase of Goods and Distance Contracts

1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Goods and Distance Contracts define the procedures for purchasing, payment, and delivery of goods on the website www.balticfilters.eu and apply to all purchases made in the online store of this website.

1.1. Buyer: A legally capable individual considered a consumer under the Consumer Rights Protection Law.

1.3. Specific provisions (e.g., the right of withdrawal) apply only to consumers purchasing goods for personal use.

1.4. The Buyer is not entitled to place an order if they have not familiarized themselves with these Terms or do not agree to them. By placing and confirming an order, the Buyer is considered to have read and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Ordering and Purchasing Goods

2.1. The description, specifications, and prices of the Seller's goods are provided in the respective product selection window on the website www.balticfilters.eu. Orders can be placed on the website at any time of the day.

2.2. Prices of goods are displayed in Euros, including VAT applicable in Latvia. Goods are sold to the Buyer at the prices valid at the time of placing the order.

2.3. The range of goods and their prices are subject to change without prior notice. Changes take effect from the time of their publication on the website and apply to all orders placed after the publication of price changes.

2.4. The Seller is not responsible for the Buyer's decision to purchase goods based on images, as these are for informational purposes only. The Seller is responsible for the product description and compliance but is not liable for the Buyer's use of the purchased product or any resulting damages.

2.5. To place an order:

  • 2.5.1. Select the desired product by clicking on its image or name, which opens a new section of the Seller's website with a detailed description and price of the selected product. Specify the quantity and click "Add to Cart."
  • 2.5.2. In the cart, the Buyer can edit payment or delivery details (for registered users), choose a delivery method, payment method, and add notes or special requests.
  • 2.5.3. Complete the purchase by selecting a delivery and payment method and clicking "Checkout." Purchases can also be made by unregistered users (guest status).
  • 2.5.4. Provide the required information about the Buyer and payment details to finalize the order. If the Buyer is registered and does not wish to edit their details, this step may be skipped. Information about personal data processing is provided in our Privacy Policy.
  • 2.5.5. If the Buyer changes their mind about purchasing a product, they can remove it from the cart by clicking the "X" in the top right corner of the respective product image in the cart.

2.6. Orders are considered received and completed when the Buyer has made the payment online. Full prepayment of the product price is required before delivery.

3. Payment for Goods

3.1. By placing and paying for an order, the Buyer concludes a distance contract with the Seller.

3.2. After selecting the desired goods and quantities, the Buyer can choose the payment and delivery method. Delivery costs are indicated at the time of payment and may be added to the product price.

3.3. Payments can be made via bank transfer or payment card prior to delivery, as per the advance invoice. In the Seller’s physical store, payments can be made in cash, by bank card, or via bank transfer, subject to restrictions applicable during epidemiological constraints.

3.4. The Buyer is responsible for any additional costs related to their chosen payment method.

3.5. Confirmation of the transaction will be sent to the Buyer via email upon successful payment.

4. Delivery of Goods

4.1. Paid or ordered goods are delivered within five business days after payment if the goods are available in the store. If not, the delivery time may be extended by two business days. The Seller may agree on the delivery time and terms with the Buyer separately.

4.2. If the Seller is unable to fulfill the contract because the ordered goods are unavailable, the Buyer will be informed. In such cases, the Seller may offer an equivalent product at an equivalent price, or the Buyer may opt for a refund of any payment made.

4.3. The delivery will be carried out by a supplier selected by the Seller, and the receipt of the goods must be confirmed by signature or other form of acknowledgment of delivery.

4.3.1. Delivery Methods:

  3. By courier: to any country in the world (contact the seller by e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.);

4.4. Upon receipt of the goods, retain all packaging elements, documentation, and accessories provided with the product, as this may affect the ability to exercise the right of withdrawal. Ownership of the goods transfers to the Buyer upon receipt of the goods and the accompanying invoice.

5. Return of Goods and Right of Withdrawal

5.1. We understand that various situations may arise, such as deciding in favor of a different product model, reconsidering the purchase altogether, or any other reason. However, the Buyer's right to withdraw from the purchase agreement with the Seller for items purchased through the online store does not apply in the following cases:

5.2.1. The product is returned in non-original or damaged packaging, making it impossible to identify the manufacturer of the product.
5.2.2. The product has been used or damaged (e.g., frozen, wet, or showing other signs of damage).
5.2.3. The withdrawal form has been submitted, but the product subject to withdrawal has not been returned or received at the Seller's warehouse as per the terms of the distance agreement.

5.3. In the event of quality-related claims concerning the purchased product, the product may be exchanged for another suitable product, if necessary. The Seller will not consider claims if the product's validity period has expired. In the event of a dispute, the matter will be resolved through mutual negotiations. If no resolution can be reached, the Buyer has the right to submit the dispute to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre's Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission (Rīga, Brīvības Street 55, LV-1010; Tel.: +371 65452554; Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), provided the Buyer has first attempted to resolve the issue with the Seller.

5.4. The following withdrawal rights apply only to goods purchased via the website www.balticfilters.eu. Buyers have the right to withdraw from the distance agreement and return the purchased goods within 14 days of the date of receipt. If the final day of the withdrawal period falls on a public holiday, the withdrawal right may be exercised until the next business day (inclusive).

6. Terms and Conditions for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

6.1. The Buyer may withdraw from the purchase in full or partially (refusing to purchase only specific items). To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must complete the withdrawal form. The withdrawal form will be provided along with the purchase. The Buyer may use the provided form template; however, it is not mandatory, provided all the required information from the form is included in the withdrawal notice.

6.2. After completing the withdrawal form, the Buyer must contact the Seller by sending the completed withdrawal form within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods (the date when the Buyer or their designated recipient has received the goods). You need JavaScript enabled to view it., by post to the Seller’s registered address, or delivered in person to the SIA “Ūdens Būve” store at Kalnciema Street 87, Riga, with prior arrangement. The right of withdrawal will not be valid if 14 days have elapsed since the receipt of the goods, the withdrawal form has not been sent or received in the specified manner, or the necessary purchase documentation has not been provided.

6.3. After submitting the withdrawal form, the Buyer must return the goods no later than five days from the date the withdrawal form was sent. The goods should be delivered to the Seller’s warehouse at Kalnciema Street 87, Riga, LV-1046. The Buyer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs. If the goods are not returned, it will be considered that the withdrawal from the distance contract has not been exercised. The goods will be inspected, and the Buyer will be informed of the inspection results via the email address provided in the withdrawal form.

6.4. Following the inspection of the goods, if they comply with these terms, the Seller will refund the amount paid for the value of the goods. The initial delivery costs will not be reimbursed. The return shipping costs to the Seller’s warehouse will also not be reimbursed and must be covered by the Buyer. If the returned goods do not meet the return requirements, the payment will not be refunded. However, if the Buyer wishes to retrieve the goods, additional delivery costs must be paid. The refund for the purchase will be made within 14 days to the Buyer’s bank account specified in the withdrawal form.
